DJ Sal Basile

Salvatore Basile's Love for music has fashioned his dreams into a career of energy and everlasting music. Through his years as a DJ, Sal Basile, formerly known as:

Plasmic Honey, S-PA, and Sal Parm has mastered the vast majority of all types of music genres. As an American/Italian he was Born & raised in Brooklyn, New York, until the age of 13 where he moved to Staten Island where his career in music took off. Starting out by playing in local bars and private parties, his experience with programming music and entertaining large crowds grew exponentially each day. Through his outstanding music selection & incredible programming skills there has been no crowd left unpleased. Sal Basile started making music with this passion in 1994. Hearing the likes of Junior Vasquez, his clubbing experience has never been the same. It was not until 1999 where he started to release his first records under the name Plasmic Honey. There he met his studio partner and friend Christian, and together they created the smash underground hits “Take Me to the Top”, "Ride the Trip" which was first debuted by world renown Victor Calderone at New York's Roxy.

He continued to create big room records such as “Africa”, “We were In the Dark” & “Dream Drums” and began to tap into the New York remix market and where he took his career to the next level.

He has DJ’ed in some of the most dominant nightclubs known. The crowd's that he has entertained have consisted of straight & gay; from driving house music to dirty filthy tribal beats, to big room anthem vocals with a twist of a harder edged sounds that only keeps you begging for more. A global attitude while working, there will be much to come from this native New Yorker.

In light of his recent success, Sal Basile is currently distributing his material overseas where his popularity has increased and his fan base has been growing universally.

His recent releases are soon to be released or featured on DR Kucho's Disc Doctor, A Original Track Called "Freak Me Strong" also just released a Track Entitled "Feel It" available on Beatpor t & Gossip Records Other Recent Release's are on and with Steve Lawler's Label, Harlem Records , Chus & Cebbalos Label Tribo Stereo Productions , & Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records . Sal Basile has recently remixed the Eric Morillo release “ Believe ”. His records have been played by the likes of Junior Vasquez, Eric Morillo, Danny Tennaglia, Steve Lawler, Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Chus & Cebbalos, Hex Hector, Oscar G, Dr Kucho, Victor Calderone, Superchumbo, and Anthony Acid. For the past 5 years he has also teamed up with DJ Skribble, and together have released many projects. The duo has had success in the commercial field of MTV; both in the house music market as well as the underground Hip-Hop community releasing party records. Together, they have also produced “Skribble’s House,” which has been a popular Underground Dance Mix show for New York radio 103.5 KTU for the past several years.

Sal Basile’s career has been a multifaceted journey including a variety of aliases and a ton of remixes and original productions that have without a question been played through your ears from both television, radio, and most of all the late night dance scene. His tenacious attitude combined with his exceptional knowledge of music, production, and any type of crowd will and has enabled him to become a quiet storm that can out perform any ones expectations.
